  • Carry out visual inspection of the equipment to check everything appears normal.
  • The performance and long-term reliability of this unit will be governed by how it is used.

Hopper Doors

  • Check the external surface of hopper/intake doors for any damage.

  • No operation will be carried out without obtaining a valid work permit.
  • At the beginning of every project or before mobilization of crew, the Engineer will explain to all Foremen about desert movement, evacuation plan at site, and the hazards involved in the task. The Foremen in turn will explain this to their workforce.
  • Before starting the work at any location, the Engineer will check all locations for any possible hazards and fix assembly points. • Supply of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) to all workers will be ensured.
  • Every work site will be provided with one first aid kit to use in case of minor injuries.
  • Firefighting equipment should be arranged as per the requirement by the main contractor.
  • Any employee having poor health will not be allowed to work on that day by his supervisor.
  • Any machinery will be checked before starting. All loose equipment and articles on the machine will be removed prior to start. It will be checked that the rotating part of the machine will not cause any harm to the persons in the vicinity. All rotating parts will be properly guarded and secured in position.
